Welcome, I’m Libby
Thank you for visiting my blog. I live in Plano, Texas where my husband and I are very involved in being happy senior adults. You will find that my blog reflects our lives and activities as well as the goings-on of our two grown children and ten grandchildren. There may even be something the Lord leads me to compose and share. Needless to say, we stay busy and sharing our busyness with you makes me happy. I do hope you will stop by and share a cup of tea with me often.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning! What a beautiful sculpture! Annster's Domain
ReplyDeleteOh, I love, love this and wish our church would implement something like this. T and I have just about decided we are going to be cremated as well. Just seems to make a whole lot of sense.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful sculpture and a beautiful reminder!
ReplyDeleteThank you Libby for posting this. The photos are beautiful and the information about the sculpture and the sculptor is quite meaningful.
ReplyDeleteElizabeth, I came over to read "Come Unto Me" from reading your comment on Kathysue's Good Life of Design. Thank you so much for posting these beautiful pictures of the statue. This is indeed a lovely statue depicting the comfort, rest, and strength which we find in Jesus as we lay all our cares and concerns on Him!

The statue is so beautiful and what a lovely setting for your final resting place. It's so nice to have that all worked out in advance.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful sculpture and I love the meaning behind it.
