Life for us old folks really isn't exciting enough to blog about; however, it's my life and my blog, so I can get away with it.
Therefore, I will show you a couple more headshots of Ava Grace.
Dick has completed all the tests for the cardiologist and they all came out good except for the one that showed not enough blood flow to the heart. Not good! He will have a heart cath this Wednesday to see what's going on. So, that's the biggie for this week.
Last week involved regular routine stuff plus a 3-hour trip back to our former place of residence. Our CPA is there and so are some good friends who we met for lunch and caught up while dominating a table in a busy restaurant for a couple hours.
Saturday morning while Dick was enjoying time with his buddies, I decided to explore the nature preserve just down the street from us.
On one of the interesting paths I came upon this lookout tower.
Once I found the right path, I was able to walk out on the bridge and see the expanse of a portion of the 200 acres in this preserve.
I did manage to get in 2 1/2 miles and can't wait for all the trees to fully bud out, because it will be an amazing place to spend some time.
Sunday after lunch at church, we made the rounds of a few local nurseries to whet our appetite for making plant purchases in a few weeks. First, we have to get someone over here who actually owns a shovel - or a tiller and knows what to do.
Since this is as exciting as it got around here, I thought I would link up with Bev Sykes, who asks the questions on Sunday Stealing. She may provide a bit more fun than I did.
