Some things that make me feel youthful, also make me feel 'not so youthful. Exercise for example. While I feel energized, I also feel so old when I can't do what I used to be able to do effortlessly. Also, when I'm with my grown up grandchildren, they help me feel younger than I really am, because they love me that way.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I live in Plano, Texas where my husband and I are very involved in being happy senior adults. You will find that my blog reflects our lives and activities as well as the goings-on of our two grown children and ten grandchildren. There may even be something the Lord leads me to compose and share. Needless to say, we stay busy and sharing our busyness with you makes me happy. I do hope you will stop by and share a cup of tea with me often.

I like the friendly front porch wave. Our Sunday School class meets via Zoom and it's been really good. We've all finally gotten the hang of it : )
ReplyDeleteWay to go on getting the shopping done! I'm glad your grandchildren make you feel younger. Those pictures are crazy, seriously what are they thinking?? Hi from your front porch is nice. Actually Adam and Gabby just had pictures taken and they were called Porch photo's, something new right now so you are spot on!
ReplyDeleteWell, shame on those folks not participating in the front porch wave. I think that's a cute, cute idea. WE're headed to Ok. early Friday morning. They are somewhat open and we got our room at our hotel and we can't wait to get there. You are a fantastic representative of someone your age. You go girl!
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh at your answer to #1 and getting everything on your list making you feel pretty smug. It reminded me that I did indeed feel like I'd climbed Mt. Everest or something when I made my weekly trip to Walmart and snagged a package of toilet paper and it was even our preferred brand! LOL We have to laugh at ourselves through this, I think just to keep some perspective.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of your week and be blessed!
Libby, being able to complete a grocery store list is a rare occurrence these days. I always enjoy reading these posts. You two look handsome on your front porch. Stay well!
ReplyDeleteI get barometric headaches too. Sometimes before the rain when the pressure changes. I love your front porch wave. What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteThose makeshift masks are hysterical! Ya on the headaches. I've only lived in Alabama 2 years, but this year's storms have given me a whole new appreciation of Mother Nature's wrath.
