Welcome, I’m Libby
Thank you for visiting my blog. I live in Plano, Texas where my husband and I are very involved in being happy senior adults. You will find that my blog reflects our lives and activities as well as the goings-on of our two grown children and ten grandchildren. There may even be something the Lord leads me to compose and share. Needless to say, we stay busy and sharing our busyness with you makes me happy. I do hope you will stop by and share a cup of tea with me often.

Your grandson is very handsome and with all the good qualities you listed, what a fine young man to be proud of. The strawberries you pictured are beautiful. I remember Luby's used to have a fairly decent strawberry pie, but that isn't always my favorite if I'm eating pie. That's neat that the strawberry is the state fruit and always on the meal! Haha! I wonder if Texas has a state meal. Our state fruit is a grapefruit. I prefer your state fruit! Old friends gathering together is one of my favorites and that is a lovely picture of all of you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome grandson...Happy Birthday to Jackson! Long time friends are the best, aren't they? Looking forward to fresh local strawberries here in May!

Happy birthday to Jackson! It is so great to get some quality time with old friends! Great picture! Thanks for joining the Medley today! It has been fun reading everyone's answers and I had no idea about strawberries and Louisiana!!
ReplyDeleteHow nice to get together with old friends and wishes for a very happy birthday to your grandson!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to Jackson on skates! LOL Loved the photos of you with friends. The best strawberries I've ever eaten are the ones that used to grow wild in the ditches up here before the township or county or someone started mowing and destroying them. The second best ones were in my garden for the five or so years that I raised strawberries. They were smaller than the typical market ones, but such an intense flavor and so sweet! Hope you have a good weekend.
