Welcome, I’m Libby
Thank you for visiting my blog. I live in Plano, Texas where my husband and I are very involved in being happy senior adults. You will find that my blog reflects our lives and activities as well as the goings-on of our two grown children and ten grandchildren. There may even be something the Lord leads me to compose and share. Needless to say, we stay busy and sharing our busyness with you makes me happy. I do hope you will stop by and share a cup of tea with me often.

Good morning Libby, I always enjoy reading your answers. I love pie as I do all sweets and pecan is definitely a favorite. It seems that cursive handwriting isn’t as valued as when I was in school. Is there anything more special than a beautifully handwritten note? Enjoy your time with your grands and Happy Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteYay! another person who can't stand oatmeal. It's one of the few normal foods that I simply can not eat.
ReplyDeleteYou are great grandparents! Leaving somewhat warm Dallas for Indiana? You deserve a medal.
ReplyDeleteI wish Terri would have extended her list to more than 3 favorite kinds of pie...pecan certainly would have been on it! I am one of those who actually enjoy oatmeal...but I always add pecans, sometimes fruit and always flavorings so it is not bland!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm here for the fourth time trying to comment. Libby, you and your husband are a treasure and a blessing to your kids and grandkids. Hope you enjoy the wintery weather up there and sit in front of a fire a lot! I never liked oatmeal either - the thought of it caused me to gag. However, it was the only option at a ladies' retreat one year and I discovered that it was tolerable if you add loads of walnuts, brown sugar, butter and raisins!! That is a very nice quote from Van Gogh. There is a movie out currently about him, which sounds pretty good.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the time with your family!
Well, you'd better pack some warm clothes for sure but what a fun time staying with those girls. You tickled me about not liking jokes. Anything that makes me laugh is great, jokes or otherwise. I can always laugh with the best of folks. Happy mid-week!
ReplyDeleteDon;t you just love it when people laugh at their own jokes? I love to listen to people laugh. It just makes me happy.
ReplyDeleteHave a great time on your visit to Indiana and yes it is cold this way and I am not even that far north. Stay warm! I enjoyed your answers! Happy Wednesday!
