Welcome, I’m Libby
Thank you for visiting my blog. I live in Plano, Texas where my husband and I are very involved in being happy senior adults. You will find that my blog reflects our lives and activities as well as the goings-on of our two grown children and ten grandchildren. There may even be something the Lord leads me to compose and share. Needless to say, we stay busy and sharing our busyness with you makes me happy. I do hope you will stop by and share a cup of tea with me often.

Looks like an exciting get-together! I think it's interesting that there was even a problem with praying on the field. I see athletes 'give it up to God' all the time. Personally, I think they had a problem with ahem a specific type of person doing it. Hopefully I'm being coy enough and not sounding awful. LOL.
ReplyDeleteHow nice to enjoy that special evening with friends. Interesting times we are living in. I just read a book called Brave By Faith by Alistair Begg which was a good read for such a time as this. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that Elvis never did commercials (except that one). What a fun and interesting fact to "know and tell."
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful event in a beautiful venue. I'd love to see all the Asian art. I like that aesthetic. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteHow interesting about the Legacy Dinner! It looks like an exciting and encouraging time, and I'm glad for the work of the organization and others like it that fight for our freedoms. We certainly need to be in prayer for our nation and the world in these days. Visiting from the hodgepodge today!
ReplyDeleteAwe, so glad I could play a small part in your blogging adventure. What a lovely affair and you and Dick look lovely as well. We'll be in our recliners tomorrow night (as we are most nights) watching those LSU girls play and Kim Mulkey coach. So, so entertaining!
ReplyDeleteMy answer was pretty much the same for #2. What an interesting story about those donuts. How fun. I liked your limerick as well.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is fun to share what is going on in our lives and hope that someday other family members will read them. Very interesting about the donuts. I prefer shopping online too. Yes, the months are flying by too quickly. You random sounds like a nice event. Thanks for sharing.
