Welcome, I’m Libby
Thank you for visiting my blog. I live in Plano, Texas where my husband and I are very involved in being happy senior adults. You will find that my blog reflects our lives and activities as well as the goings-on of our two grown children and ten grandchildren. There may even be something the Lord leads me to compose and share. Needless to say, we stay busy and sharing our busyness with you makes me happy. I do hope you will stop by and share a cup of tea with me often.

What a blessing and beautifully phrased truth. Closed doors of opportunity will always re-open to unexpected opportunities if service. We must simply open our eyes and hearts and say yes. Our bodies may begin to weaken but Jesus can equip us to do what He asks! Thank you, Libby.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully stated and I am thrilled that both of you are finding new purpose and reason in your new location. I know you both are such a blessing to those around you. Happy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteOh I love this!! Of course the Lord would have the perfect ministry for both of you. He loves you so much. I'm glad things are going well in your new place!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully written and inspirational! Our Elohim always has a place for us, whether it is interacting with folks, teaching the Gospel or storming Heaven's gates, praying for the needs of others.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words Libby. Congrats on the new place. Happy Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteOh yes! Amen to everything you just wrote! God is doing mighty things in our loves right now. He is so good and faithful. Enjoy your new chapter of what He has for you! Have a nice weekend and Happy Mother's Day.

I so enjoyed this and it's something I think about quite often. I think God gives us different ways to serve Him, quietly or in the spotlight, in different seasons of our lives. He knows what we need : )
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your post, I am a senior and retired too, and a prayer warrior. Isn't retirement grand? I gave myself a reading project to learn about Winston Churchill, I am reading my fourth book about him, learning is great mental exercise. Churchill was motivated by his Christian faith.
