Thank you for visiting my blog. I live in Plano, Texas where my husband and I are very involved in being happy senior adults. You will find that my blog reflects our lives and activities as well as the goings-on of our two grown children and ten grandchildren. There may even be something the Lord leads me to compose and share. Needless to say, we stay busy and sharing our busyness with you makes me happy. I do hope you will stop by and share a cup of tea with me often.

What a wonderful story of real life heroes. Thanks for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteHallelujah is my favorite song!! Love the story about all the heroes!! Have a good week, Libby!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful story. We watched the PBS Memorial Day concert and there was a story somewhat like these two. So many stories of people who wanted to fight for their country, noble men and women who served. I'm glad you were able to attend the reunion.
ReplyDeleteYou asked about the purple flower. It is oxalis. It is a perennial.
What a poignant, beautiful tale ... so timely! How blessed you are to call them friend. I love this video.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this beautiful story, Elizabeth...and so very appropriate during this time as we remember those fighting for our freedom. Oh, and that beautiful and heart felt rendition of "Hallelujah"...what a story it tells as well. Wonderful post!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing their story!!
