Besides walking the puppy multiple times I have researched how to make a toga for granddaughter's HOCO dress requirement for tomorrow. I plan to spend time going through and editing some of the pictures I took while traveling through Kentucky last week. It will be a fun, busy day doing what I enjoy.

Welcome, I’m Libby
Thank you for visiting my blog. I live in Plano, Texas where my husband and I are very involved in being happy senior adults. You will find that my blog reflects our lives and activities as well as the goings-on of our two grown children and ten grandchildren. There may even be something the Lord leads me to compose and share. Needless to say, we stay busy and sharing our busyness with you makes me happy. I do hope you will stop by and share a cup of tea with me often.

Wow, doesn't that room with a view look fantastic! I hope you're going to have some nice weather while you're there in Indiana. Sounds like a fun thing to do - a granddaughter and a grandpuppy. What's not to love about that! Do you paint with oil or with acrylics? I'm wondering because years ago I used to do rosemaling. I really enjoyed working with oils, but the amount of time I spent cleaning my brushes ended up being more than I had to actually paint. I hope you get back into painting. It does sound so therapeutic!
ReplyDeleteThat is my kind of view!! And that last photo is absolutely gorgeous. I can't wait to see your pictures. You definitely need to find some time to scan those letters and do some painting. But I understand your dilemma in what to do with them. The kids' grandmother was an avid painter and she gave her paintings to her children and grandchildren. She painted special things for them. I even have two of her paintings.
ReplyDeleteHello and thanks so much for joining the Wednesday Medley today! Nice to meet you!! Enjoy your time with family. I hope the temperatures in Indiana are comfortable. We are still sweating through the 90s here in central Florida!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun meme! I'll have to check it out. I quit cross stitching after I had no one else to give it to. I had all I wanted/needed and had done all the family a piece. So, perhaps, if you haven't already, give your next art pieces away. Continue to enjoy this special time.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your answers Libby! How fun to be spending time with your granddaughter! Blessings~
ReplyDeleteReally interesting dear! That room is so amazing! Looking forward to see the photos! xoxo
