I'm sure I have stayed in hotels taller but the Reunion Tower in Dallas is the most memorable. We visited it shortly after it was completed in 1978. At 561 ft, this observation tower is only the 15th tallest in the city, but it does command quite a presence and provides a 360 degree vista of the city.

Welcome, I’m Libby
Thank you for visiting my blog. I live in Plano, Texas where my husband and I are very involved in being happy senior adults. You will find that my blog reflects our lives and activities as well as the goings-on of our two grown children and ten grandchildren. There may even be something the Lord leads me to compose and share. Needless to say, we stay busy and sharing our busyness with you makes me happy. I do hope you will stop by and share a cup of tea with me often.

I agree that I too should have been more patient; I find I get so exasperated with my kids and it doesn't help.
ReplyDeleteLibby, your paintings are lovely. I think they will sell! Joy is good! Your year will be filled with joy with those precious great-grands making their appearance in the world! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI miss the good 'ole' days...things seemed so much easier and people were more helpful and kind. Your paintings are beautiful
ReplyDeleteyour paintings are lovely!!! I really like your "more of/less of" answers. I wish I had loved better and I wish I had not said a cross word all year. I can think of those answers this morning but last night I was so tired when I was posting.
ReplyDeleteDropping in from the Hodgepodge and I enjoyed your answers. Wow 2 great grandbabies - that is definitely exciting. Our grandkids are still young (eldest will be 5 this year) so a long way to go for us yet. Your paintings are lovely. I'm sure they will sell.
ReplyDeleteYum on the ice cream. We have a favorite vanilla from Costco but only have a small cone maybe 2 times a month. I like almond milk and use it to make oatmeal or eat a heart healthy cereal. Two new babies is going to be such a blessing to all of you. I love your paintings. It's been nice seeing them on Facebook. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your answers. Congrats on the great grandbabies. Your paintings are gorgeous! WOW!
ReplyDeleteThe paintings are amazing! I remember the drills from 2nd grade. Here's an interesting fact: I actually have a bomb shelter in my home. The original owner worked in Oak Ridge and he wanted to make sure his family was safe. But...there's no door and I'm not sure that there ever was one!
