In 1996, we and four of our best couple friends took a Caribbean Cruise to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversaries. We had a great time making tons of memories, but realized that the sun on the sundeck of a cruise ship got old. Regretfully, two of our group are now deceased and one couple divorced. Time and life can take a toll, but we will forever be grateful for friendships.

Welcome, I’m Libby
Thank you for visiting my blog. I live in Plano, Texas where my husband and I are very involved in being happy senior adults. You will find that my blog reflects our lives and activities as well as the goings-on of our two grown children and ten grandchildren. There may even be something the Lord leads me to compose and share. Needless to say, we stay busy and sharing our busyness with you makes me happy. I do hope you will stop by and share a cup of tea with me often.

Glad to see you back. I, too, have been absent for a couple of weeks. Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy your time with family.
ReplyDeleteGood to 'see' you back! Your Thanksgiving menu sounds wonderful; I'm grinning on account my DIL had to set me straight on the difference between stuffing and dressing: "Here in the South we DRESS our food." I'm curious what cruise company you all sailed with? Our last cruise was nearly 20 years ago aboard Holland America..
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
ReplyDeleteYour dishes sound delicious. I will decorate but not feeling it yet. I will definitely cut way back but want to have enough for James to enjoy. Your random sounds interesting. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
