Welcome, I’m Libby
Thank you for visiting my blog. I live in Plano, Texas where my husband and I are very involved in being happy senior adults. You will find that my blog reflects our lives and activities as well as the goings-on of our two grown children and ten grandchildren. There may even be something the Lord leads me to compose and share. Needless to say, we stay busy and sharing our busyness with you makes me happy. I do hope you will stop by and share a cup of tea with me often.

What a great day out! I didn't know much about this bit of history and enjoyed learning something new. Looks like you had some great sister time in a pretty place. So glad you joined in today!
ReplyDeleteThe Acadian village and history is so fascinating! I will mark that movie to watch. Your sister's set up seems perfect. I'm so sorry for her loss, though, that prompted it.

Libby, I loved reading about your day in the life. What an amazing property your nephew has and what a great way to honor his mom by letting her build a barnamenium on his property. You had a great day with your sister. The history surrounding the Acadian village is something special to learn about. Thanks for taking us to the village and introducing that movie to us as well.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like such a neat outing! I love when movies prompt me to go visit somewhere in real life.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun day! Busy too! Were you done in afterwards?? Not sure I will ever make it to that part of the country...so thanks for sharing it!!
