Rugby is football without the pads and helmet.  The game has been called "Elegant Violence!"  And violent it is.  It is brutal!  These are just a couple pictures of Jackson that Son sent us last week.  Jackson is the big guy stiff arming his opponent.  He was quite proud of that move, by the way.

  1. Such beautiful music, Libby...I just love the way flutes sound! No pollen here yet, but I know it's coming! Your porch is going to be so nice...be sure to share pictures when it's all finished!

  4. As always, I enjoy your blog, which brings a ray of sunshine, yes, even through the pollen! My first exposure to Rugby was when our youngest son, Andy, in the late '80s suggested the John Brown University Rugby team stop over at our house in Kentwood, LA on their way to New Orleans. We loved them and they literally inhaled a pot of Sloppy Joes! At that time, a popular bumper sticker was: Give Blood; Play Rugby!
Thanks for bringing your readers such a great blend of everything fun! Can't wait to see your new sun room. Know it will be lovely!
